An essential part of teaching in project engineering is the applicable regulations. It is often a difficult teaching for both students and teachers, accustomed much more to scientific than to legal language. On the part of the teacher can arise the doubt of if it is really imparting the matter in the best way possible, especially in the first years. In this experience we have worked with the regulations of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), which has a structure quite complicated to understand and is difficult to access despite being public. It is intended that the students understand well the scope of the European legislation and its application in the national legal order.
The experience has involved to develop tutorials on the structure and on how to locate EASA regulations in a very detailed way. These tutorials have been developed between the area of Aerospace Engineering and the area of Public International Law, creating a collaboration that results in documents of greater utility, quality and precision than could have been produced if only one area was involved.
