    Abstract
The machine analyzed in this study is an agricultural implement used to stack cereals in order to optimize the storage area and to move cereals in order to avoid high temperature focuses. These focuses can generate the proliferation of mycotoxins caused by the presence of fungi in cereals. One of the most susceptible cereals is maize. The lattice mast structure of these agricultural implements has a satisfactory structural behavior when pushing the cereal. The problem occurs when a implement pushes the cereal at the same time that the tractor are turning. At this moment the mast structure is subjected to a bending effort. This effort has not been considered in most current designs. This study shows the work carried out in order to analyze and optimize an agricultural implement design for cereals movement. Concretely, in this paper the research group shows the numerical optimization developed by means of numerical analyses based in the Finite Element Method.
