The current social model produces in parallel both an increase of the sedentarism of the population and an impoverishment of their diet. These two phenomena are the main reason of a gradual increase in the number of overweigh and obese people in developed countries during recent years. At present, there are two types of outdoor exercise facilities: geriatric parks or biohealthy circuits, with devices that offer very low resistance to movement; and outdoor facilities oriented to calisthenics exercises, where multi-articular exercises can be performed with a high level of exigency. Therefore, there is no type of intermediate facilities intended for a more active public without the need for a great physical condition. This communication presents the design of three devices intended for outdoor exercise where the load is proportional to the user´s weight. In addition, and with the aim of adapting this type of machinery to the environment where they will be used, the design has been inspired by elements of nature, reducing the visual impact of structures and improving their aesthetic appearance.
