    Abstract
Immovable properties of the industrial heritage need sustainable strategies of conservation when the productive activity ends and they lose their function. Rehabilitation initiatives for the recuperation of these kind of elements are often focused on secondary aspects and not on the main characteristics of this assets, which must be the ones which allow a proper interpretation of their productive nature. This work proposes the adaptation of the Analytic Hierarchy Process to the valuation and selection of the most appropriated uses for these assets, by considering their compatibility with the conservation of their characteristics of value. The developed methodology was designed as a tool. Thus, from a few estimations the methodology returns the main analysis of interest in order to help in the final decision about the most suitable new use.
