dc.description | Rural territories and their actors have lagged for decades in aspects of human development and social welfare compared to the urban territory. With the growing demand for food and climate change, the inhabitants are forced to innovate to improve their living conditions. Historically, rural territories have a structure that comes from the use of the land with primary activities characterized by the use of rural labor force on local resources; however, they are not identified with each other to associate efforts. In this sense, the use of resources (physical, material, natural and economic) can promote association and development in an ascending manner around local initiatives. Different participatory forums were held in an ascending format in rural communities to identify stakeholders on local initiatives that would facilitate the identification of stakeholders, limitations, potentialities, and local resources to form value networks. Simple correspondence analysis (Rstudio) determined an association between current economic activities and those they prefer to carry out. The local initiatives were different from the current ones. They were related to agriculture, forestry, livestock, fishing, social infrastructure, trade and health. There is a relationship between occupation, age and activity of the actors. Prioritized initiatives allow a territorial innovation strategy. Keywords: "Participatory forums"; "Rural development"; "Social intervention "Initiatives"; "Empowerment" | es_ES |
