| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Within the framework of IMIDRA-financed operational group projects (PDR GO), the CAMEVAR project (PDR18-CAMEVAR) faces this year the challenge of establishing a synergy with the PAZ project. With this collaboration, two fundamental objectives are sought. On the one hand, implementing the use of remote sensing and advanced sensorization of plots in the search for better varieties of camelina for the central area of Spain. On the other, to open military technologies to civilian uses to obtain environmental data. We used an irrigated plot to cultivate Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz during the autumn-winter cultivation cycle, with humidity and soil temperature sensors installed. Additionally, the crop was monitored using images from Sentinel-2 (to estimate the NDVI vegetation index) and PAZ-INTA (to estimate soil moisture) satellites. Thus, we evaluated the precision of remote sensing and in-situ monitoring technology to determine and to monitor the vegetative conditions of a crop and the environmental conditions. | es_ES |
