Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) are hydrocarbons obtained from petroleum refining by fractional distillation. LPG are stored and sold in liquid state and the most common for domestic and industrial use are bottles of butane and propane.
It´s called Center of Storage and Distribution (CSD) of GLP to centers for reception and storage of LPG containers, for distribution and sale to end customers in the same centers and at home. They are classified into five categories. The centers of first category have a capacity of between 25,001 and 250,000 kg.
The design and procedure before the various administrations of a CSD of 1st category is dealt with doubt among the classification between Industry and Retail. This article, through a case study located in La Pobla Larga (Valencia ), answers the question through the analysis of the rules, of the main factors for the design of the center and the quirks and shortcomings of the method of administrative authorization.
