    Abstract
Following the relative success of the Millennium Development Goals, the United Nations has proposed an agenda for 2015-2030, known as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The SDG consist of 17 objectives with 169 goals that seek to ensure sustainability, peace and security of the planet. This theoretical work aims to reflect on the relationship between Sustainable Development Objectives and the discipline of Project Engineering, the links with the professional exercise of project management and the practical implications with teaching in this discipline.
