Citizen science involves the general public in scientific activities and encourages the active contribution of citizens to research through their intellectual effort, their general knowledge, or their tools and resources. Participants provide experimental data and facilities for research, pose new questions and create, together with those interested, a new scientific culture. Citizen science can contribute to a great diversity of projects, generating high quality data efficiently helping to solve specific problems and facilitating the participation of diverse actors that provide an alternative vision as well as knowledge that can be useful to the project management team . The general goal of this work is to develop a methodological proposal that allows the management team of a public sector project to integrate the knowledge of the citizens interested in it. This objective answers the question: how can the project management team know and integrate the citizens interested in a public sector project?
