In this work is carried out the energy study of a house with the aim of achieving a maximum reduction in energy demand to design a zero consumption building. An energy simulation has been carried out using the PHPP v9.3a tool of a house in the design phase for residential use, located in the Mediterranean climate, for which the proposal of low energy demand solutions were carried out. This requires the optimization of the thermal envelope of the house, as well as the appropriate selection of ventilation and air conditioning equipment to ensure a high level of comfort in the house with a very low energy consumption. The insulation level of the enclosure has been optimised, and the installation of high-performance insulating windows and a ventilation system with balanced, regulated and calibrated heat recovery has been considered. In addition, it would be necessary to guarantee a minimum value of hermeticity of the construction against leaks and infiltrations of air and the free design of thermal bridges in number and length.
