This project consists of developing the phases of the design of a mini urban waste container, in collaboration with the "Islas y Sendas Verdes" project of the University of Malaga. The objective is raising awareness among its future users (most of them, students of the Malaga University). Specifically, it will be designed for the environment of “Isla y Senda Verde de la Biblioteca General”. It has been developed using the Ecodesign methodologies, based on an investigation of the current urban wastebaskets and the environment in which it will be installed. In this way, the environmental impact of the mini container will be reduced, in order to collect urban waste in a more sustainable way. The material will be chosen to replace the one of the current urban wastebaskets, also it will guarantee the desired technical specifications. The design of the mini container, which has been given the name and image, "ECO", is innovative, simple, minimalist and provides greater functionality to the environment in which it is placed. In addition, design programs such as Solidworks and CorelDRAW, have been used to design the product and its image; to evaluate the environmental impact, SimaPro
