Nuevo modelo secuencial y conceptual para la gestión de proyectos: Mejorando el PMBOK
Resumen
The pmboK Guide for project management is the most cited and used instrument in the world of operations management. But most of the organizations don’t use it strictly as a guide and it is because in order to universalize its message, taxonomy and content, it uses in its writing dozens of experts who have to agree in generating a model that facilitates this multiple contributions in each of the editions that are being made, so, you also lose of its unifying thread, its freshness and its validity, that is much more realistic adapted to the technological and changing world.
This paper tries to propose, in the light of the experience in dozens of projects, a model that universalizes the proposal without needing to provoke constant adaptations and also makes the process by which a project manager knows what to do easier, from the realism and from the first moment, in aspects such as what is the first thing you have to do, what is most important and how to continue, whatever the project is. To do so, we base ourselves on the Knowledge Areas and Processes scheme and, from there, the improvements are introduced.
