The use and handling of information has been important in rural areas on issues such as the recovery of valuable traditional knowledge, learning, and participation of different
communities, the latter point has evolved through strategic devices that have improved dissemination of information in terms of quality, coverage and efficiency, all these for
the benefit of users. The Institute for Community Development in Cuenca, Spain, has worked with the delivery of information to the rural community in areas of low density
for 25 years in this period of time, information devices and transfer channels have evolved according to the needs of users. Today's technological advances have allowed
the time to update the information expansion in coverage and the best way to reach them; this work systematized information devices used by this institution, and
discusses their applicability to other territories.
