    Abstract
Creativity is a field in which there are different techniques for the problem resolution. This field is more important in the conceptual design stage for its relevance in the creation of original products. However, most of the several techniques applied look at the solving without identifying the designer personality. Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is a methodology centered in mental representation in which one person makes through its perception system and over the linguistic contents (verbal and non-verbal) of the message. One of the main advantages is its facility of using, multidisplinary planning, freedom in its application and the consideration of syntactic analysis as a creativity source. One of the models of NLP is the representational system which tests how the mind processes information through the senses. In this article a study about the application of representational systems in the field of creativity in different educative environments is shown and a planning of a method for its application to students of the design degree is proposed. Keywords: creativity; NLP; conceptual design; training
