GESTIÓN DE PROYECTOS TIC: MODELO DE FORMACIÓN PARA PYMES

Abstract

Carrying projects in companies is one of its core activities but the key to success is good management. In noting that some SMEs were not used to carry out proper management of ICT projects a project management methodology for this kind of companies and projects was developed. Although the methodology is clear and easy to follow, some SMEs do not have staff with specific training for project management. Thus, we have seen the need to prepare a training plan for SME managers and others involved in the implementation and management of ICT projects. Considering the profile of attendees, training should be conducted in a limited time in which one has to, on the one hand, convince students that the methodology is easy to use and provides operational advantages and, on the other, encourage active participation leading to a practical application or, at least, to a project that is simulated. If the training is appropriate, it will encourage the proper use of the methodology, which is the main objective.
