Abstract

The evolution of the physical productivity of work in software projects has been studied using the ISBSG (International Software Benchmarking Standards Group) dataset Release 11. The results obtained using linear regression suggest a decrease in the physical productivity of work. As there has been some debate between researchers about productivity evolution, the research methodology points out the importance of replicating previous results. Thus, special care was taken to register all the process followed in this study in order to facilitate replication.
