Abstract

The increasing demand on the traceability of the processes related to agriculture, linked to the use of practices that respect the environment and reduced costs, both in a sustainability context, involving the need to develop news tools as presented at this work. We have designed and implemented a system to capture information about the farm tractor activity, adapted to the needs of a particular agricultural cooperative, but with an opened configuration. The software application record data relating to partner, activity time, refill fuel, breakdowns, cultivated area.. It has also provided the possibility of bidirectional messages sending with a control center. With this system we can know in real time, at the control center, the position of the tractor. We can also see at tractor display the position on an orthophoto. A guidance system for the performance of agricultural work such as the fertilizer spreading, pesticides application.. was implemented.
