DISEÑO DE UNA APLICACIÓN DE SOFTWARE PARA LA GESTIÓN Y MONITORIZACIÓN DE LA RECOGIDA DE TERNEROS

Abstract

The cooperative "Os Irmandiños" located in the municipality of Ribadeo (Lugo, Spain) manages, for their partners, the transport of calves to the slaughterhouse. In order to achieve a reduction in the final cost of transportation, and consequently increase the profit , we have designed an application that links aspects of the partner and calves characteristics with aspects related to the fleet management. The application was designed with several interfaces. The area for to introduce information into the system, which will define the characteristics of calves to load onto truck, will be linked to cooperative partner, the slaughterhouse of destination and the transportation capacity. At the area related to the route management we can display on a georeferenced mapping the location of collection points With the software application we can see a road map that provides the minimum path through all points, and will also display the actual path followed by the truck, with the implementation of a GPS to capture signals.
