Creativity and innovation are becoming indispensable values for the development of the knowledge society of the s. XXI. Creativity can be defined today as a process whose main actor is the person but which is strengthened in the values and the rules that govern a society in which originality takes priority over. It is a skill, an ability to build unexpected relationships and generate new and appropriate ideas.
The term Web 2.0 refers to a second evolution of the Web, which is based on the serve as a platform for access to various services and the active share of users as a source of content and information.
The innovation of these new tools, such as Web 2.0, are inducing a major technological breakthrough, but it may arise if this new thinking really helps to encourage creativity of its users. This article makes an analysis of currently available software in order to assess the degree of creativity of those tools.
