IDENTIFICACIÓN DE FACTORES CRÍTICOS DE ÉXITO EN LA ADOPCIÓN DE METODOLOGÍAS ÁGILES-ESTUDIOS DE CASO EN COLOMBIA
Resumen
A perspective of critical success factors influencing the adoption of Agile Methodologies in project management is presented in this communication. This research defines, through literature review and empirical evidence, the most important elements needed to obtain better results in adopting these methodologies.
A literature review was done in order to analyze the agile environment by means of scientific evidence. Subsequently, the information is validated through interviews with representatives from two successful case studies in Colombia. Those projects focus on issues of improving efficiency in processing time online and accelerating internal cycles of software development.
As a result, two kinds of factors were found: Organizational and Human. Organizational Factors such as: customer satisfaction, collaboration and commitment, decision time, and corporate culture, and Human Factors such as: personal characteristics, effective communication and negotiation and, training and learning. It is intended that the findings will be useful for future adoptions in other sectors.
