This article describes the process used to study the sensitivity about criticality analysis of wind turbine components as supporting to implement a draft maintenance management of assets in the wind power industry. On the basis of data reported in a previous study on the hierarchical structure of criticality of these components, and using five criteria associated with: failure rate, flexibility in operations, effects of failure, repair cost and impact on safety, hygiene and environment, was developed a sensitivity analysis on all components to determine which of the variables corresponding to the above criteria has the greatest impact on the values of previous criticality analysis. Results were obtained using specialized software in numerical methods, and were interpreted tables, charts and graphs generated. We conclude, in light of the results, that the overall effect of the sensitivity on the parameters of the mathematical model of a wind turbine about critical components does not change its previous level of criticality.
