FOMENTO DEL ECODISEÑO EN LAS EMPRESAS DEL PAÍS VACO. CASO DEL TERRITORIO HISTÓRICO DE GIPUZKOA

Abstract

Sustainable development is a concept which is widely spread in mass media. However, are the companies ready for dealing with it? The answer to this task is no. This is the reason why IHOBE and the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, through its Department for Sustainable Development, has been promoting the “Aula de Ecodiseño” of MONDRAGON UNIBERTSITATEA. Its objective is to train ecodesign technicians and to promote its use in the companies of Gipuzkoa. On this paper it is explained how the “Aula de Ecodiseño” of MONDRAGON UNIBERTSITATEA works and the results of its four years experience. Keywords: sustainable development; ecodesign; ecoinnovation.
