This paper analyses the Adoption of Soil and Water Conservation in (ASWC). Tomabú Community in the Municipalities of Trinidad Estelí, and San Francisco Libre. The study
focuses in four variables: Training and Technical Assistance, Land Tenure, Family Income, and Organization. Results of the study showed that the different methodological strategies had a high contribution in the process of adoption of ASWC in both municipalities because the producers had a personal assistance facilitating a better communication between technicians and producers. Land tenure happened to be an essential determinant in the predisposition of adopting ASWCFamily incomes
didn’t result a determinant factor in the adoption of ASWC. Regarding organization, organized producers showed a higher degree of adoption.
