| dc.description | La originalidad del clima de La Rioja reside en la interferencia de aspectos oceánicos, mediterráneos, continentales, etc. El clima varía en relación con las particulares características físicas. Desde las cumbres frías y húmedas de la sierra de la Demanda hasta las cálidas y áridas tierras de la Rioja Baja, se escalonan diferentes dominios climáticos, que van desde el clima de montaña al clima mediterráneo continentalizado del centro de la depresión, con todas las matizaciones que introduce la proximidad a la acción reguladora del Océano Atlántico.Basándonos en la singularidad de La Rioja y considerando el conjunto de los elementos del clima, se han definido previamente varias zonas climáticas, aceptando la existencia de una mayor complejidad en ellas y la difícil precisión de sus límites al solaparse influencias mutuas de unas y otras. Una vez optimizados los datos disponibles, se ha procedido a la definición de once zonas climáticas, asignando una superficie de influencia a cada una de las estaciones meteorológicas de referencia, extrapolando sus datos a las localidades incluidas en su radio de acción. Se deberán aplicar las oportunas correcciones, en función de la diferencia de altitud, como se especifica en el Código Técnico de la Edificación (CTE). | dc.description.abstract | The originality of the climate in La Rioja lies in the interference of oceanic, Mediterranean, Continental, etc, aspects. The climate varies in relation to the particular physical properties. From cold and damp mountain tops in the Sierra de la Demanda to the warm and dry lands of La Rioja Baja, there are steps of different climatic domains ranging from mountain to continental Mediterranean in the centre of the depression, with all the shadings caused by the closeness to the regulating action of the Atlantic Ocean. Based on the special nature of La Rioja and considering the sets of climate elements, various climate zones have previously been defined, accepting the existence of greater complexity in them and the difficulty of precisely defining their limits since mutual influences overlap with each other. Once the available data have been optimised, 11 climate areas have been defined, assigning an area of influence to each of the reference weather stations, extrapolating their data to the areas within their radius of action. Suitable corrections must be applied according to the difference in altitude, as specified in the Building Technical Code (BTC).
