CÓMO ESTABLECER LOS LÍMITES DE LAS CIUDADES: UN ESTUDIO PRELIMINAR.
Resumen
The urban expansion develops to a speed and scale without precedents; turning into a world topic with social, environmental and economic consequences. Now there is a difficulty to establish a clear formal limits which distinguish between urban and rural. The territories of urban rural interface have the value to be able to act as articulators between the urban and rural system. As a result of this in the present work we begins a preliminary study for establishing a strategy to see how the urban rural interface space is planned in Buenos Aires. This is organized through the study of two plans that pose an innovative urban rural relationship in large cities, the County of London plan and the plan of Extension of Amsterdam. The work presents a topological look on these two emblematic documents in the conformation of a future strategy for the urban rural interface in Buenos Aires. In this plans there are two types of solutions: the establishment of a space of urban rural interface where rural land is designed with the same precision as the urban and a "green belt" which sets a limit to the urban.
