INFLUENCIA DE LA CRISIS DE LA CONSTRUCCIÓN EN LA ACCIDENTALIDAD DE LAS OBRAS

Abstract

The current building crisis, within today’s global crisis, has originated numerous articles and gatherings on its relationship with unemployment, government plans, economic recovery, redundancy plans, CPI, Stock Exchange, consumption but the topic of accident rate at building sites has not been widely covered. This article aims to summarise the different views about this matter (trade unions and employers, trade associations, specialized publications…), which can sometimes be opposed, and to put forward objective data on the impact the current crisis has on accident rate at building sites, as well as its possible interpretations.
