LA ASIGNATURA GESTIÓN DE PROYECTOS EN EL GRADO DE INGENIERÍA INFORMÁTICA
Resumen
The current paper addresses a study about Project Management courses in the context of Computing degrees. First, through the analysis of different Project Management curricula offered in several Computing degrees. A list of 34 public universities has been selected and the main features of Project Management courses have been reviewed from the information provided by the Web sites in the Computer schools that implement them. These features are based on issues such as the course scheduling or recommendations to join these courses. This analysis has enabled to gather a wide range of views about the Project Management in the context of Computing schools and its role in the implementation of Computing degrees. Second, a detailed review of the course offered in Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Informática at Universitat Politècnica de Valencia in the period 2013-14 has been carried out. This review has included statistics about course resource accesses as well as a qualitative valuation of the course implementation during this first year and the difficulties detected in this period. In summary, this study will enable to evaluate more precisely the course outcomes next years as well as dealing with possible changes in its design Keywords: Project management;computing degree; curricula design; study case
