NORMALIZACIÓN Y CALIDAD EN LA DOCUMENTACIÓN DE PROYECTOS

Abstract

The main purpose of this communication is to show and disseminate the last developments and the current situation of the set of standards derived from the UNE 157001:2002, and the activities are being developed by the AENOR Technical Committee AEN/CTN 157 “Projects”. All the current standards have to be true references for any professional involved in the project life cycle in Spain. The knowledge and the application of these standards will help to improve the quality of the documentation that supports the huge quantities of official projects, developed by the professionals of the different engineering and architecture branches in Spain. At the same time, key statistical data about the engineering, architecture and consultancy companies in Spain are presented and the important role performed by them in our economy is discussed.
