LA METODOLOGÍA “EMOTION RESEARCH LAB” EN DISEÑO DE OBJETO PARA RESGUARDAR DE LA LLUVIA A USUARIOS EN SILLA DE RUEDAS

Abstract

A survey was conducted among 80 wheelchair users at the national level with the assistance of organisations of disabled people.

Its results identified the characteristics requested by users and worked as a guidance for the ergonomic design of the object.

Initially three designs were used to work on to grant freedome of choice to users. 10 users out of eighty were chosen to participate on the "Emotion Research Lab" methodology. These users were a representative sample by sex and age.

Results obtained by this methodology helped to choose which was the best design out of the three which people liked the most and met the demands of the end user.
