| dc.description | La legislación en materia de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales obliga a proteger la seguridad y salud de los trabajadores. Una de las herramientas para integrar la acción preventiva en el proceso productivo y en la organización de una empresa es el Sistema de Gestión de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales. La implantación de este sistema en una empresa permite: - Mejorar su actividad en la seguridad de sus trabajadores. - Optimizar la gestión de los riegos laborales para disminuir los mismos. - Controlar el cumplimiento de la legislación vigente en materia de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales, así como las prescripciones y/o condicionantes impuestas por los órganos administrativos de los que depende su actividad. En este trabajo se identifican y relacionan cada uno de los procesos que integran el ciclo productivo de una cantera de caliza destinada a la elaboración de áridos para la construcción. Y se analizan los peligros que entraña para los trabajadores el desempeño de sus correspondientes tareas laborales, estableciendo finalmente las medidas necesarias para paliarlos o minimizarlos. A partir de este diagnóstico, se elaboran posteriormente los documentos exigidos por la normativa para la implantación propiamente dicha del Sistema de Gestión de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales. | dc.description.abstract | The legislation about Prevention of Occupational Risks obliges to protect the safety and health of workers. One of the tools to integrate the preventive action in the production process and the organization of a company is the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). The implementation of this system in a company allows: - Improve safety of workers’ activity. - Optimize the management of occupational risks to reduce them. - Monitor compliance with current legislation of Occupational Risks Prevention, as well as the requirements or conditions imposed by administrations controlling the company activity. In this work, we identify and relate each of the processes that conform the production cycle of a quarry of limestone for the manufacture of aggregates for the construction. After this, we analyze the hazards for workers in the performance of their respective labor tasks. Finally, we establish measures to mitigate or minimize those risks. Based on this diagnosis, they are prepared the documents required by the regulations for the proper implementation of the Occupational Risks Prevention Management System.
