TECNOLOGÍAS LIMPIAS Y BUENAS PRÁCTICAS EN LA GESTIÓN DE VEHÍCULOS AL FINAL DE SU VIDA ÚTIL, EN CENTROS AUTORIZADOS DE TRATAMIENTO (CATs) EN LA COMUNITAT VALENCIANA
Resumen
The Directive 2000/53/EC on End-of Life Vehicles lays down measures to reduce the disposal of waste, as well as the improvement of the environmental performance of
operators, the Authorized Treatment Facilities, involving significant changes in its management, practices and technologies.
Competent bodies shall take the necessary measures to ensure that End-of Life Vehicles are treated in accordance with the suitable technical and operational requirements in Member States.
The aim of the project is to elaborate an easy-to-use guide reference, in order to promote the implementation of Best Available Techniques (according to Directive 2008/1/CE on IPPC) on ELVs management. The project has been pioneering because of the use of the most actual information technologies, its methodology, based on multidisciplinary work groups. These work groups are formed by information technologies experts, representatives of the associations involved in End-of Life Vehicles, operators owners and Authorized Treatment Facilities technicians, and members of the environmental public administration. The aim of the work group work is to ensure different parts participation and agreement.
A CD and a brochure with the conclusions of the study will be distribute freely and be accessible in different languages in the Clean Technologies Centre web, as well as in
seminars about the topic.
