TECNOLOGIA DE MEMBRANA PARA LA OBTENCIÓN DE AGUAS REGENERADAS
Resumen
Last 7th December, the Spanish Ministerio de la Presidencia established by mean of the Real Decreto 1.620/2007, the new legal regime for the reusability of polished waters.
The required quality parameters according to the use of the water, cause that most of the existing water purifiers cannot continue this law for obtaining the regenerated water.
During years it has been developed trustworthy ultrafiltration technicals thanks to their application can even be obtained regenerated waters of high quality, surpassing to the
demanded requirements in the mentioned law.
In the new depuration stations, the new submerged membrane technologies are used to purify residual waters, and its quality allows his re‐use.
The processes with membranes have the objectives to produce and to recover waters, as well as to increase their purity and quality.
In case that the regenerated residual present high values of salinity for its use in irrigation we can complete the treatment by mean of the membrane use of nanofiltration or inverse osmosis.
Part of the leaked water will be treated by the equipment of nanofiltration or inverse osmosis, obtaining this water mixtured with the required limit of salinity, being a smaller cost than if we carried out a desalination of all the water.
The residual water regeneration with membrane technology is a trustworthy alternative to obtain quality water with an inferior cost that the desalted water, contributing to improve our environment.
