PROPUESTA METODOLÓGICA PARA LA PRIORIZACIÓN DE PROBLEMAS DE LA RED ELÉCTRICA DE DISTRIBUCIÓN DE VENEZUELA

Abstract

This paper proposes a methodology for priorisation of solutions to the Venezuela electrical distribution network´ problems. Venezuela electrical distribution network is mostly radial and has different kind of problems, to which multiple solutions can be found. According to the experts, these decision-making problems, are of type multiexpert, multicriteria and intuitive, therefore, the use of a MCDA technique, such as AHP is valid. No such technique is currently being used when making investment decisions. A methodology based on AHP is presented and to demonstrate its goodness, a case study is analyzed with the participation of four experts related to the power industry in Venezuela.
