    Resumen
The first step in any decision process must be the recognition and the comprehension of the problem. Many projects have systems of management and control of the critical success aspects: costs, schedule, quality and risks, that compare the results obtained those who had been planned and programmed. These examine the results across analysis of changes and provide information from which corrective actions can take to solve the problems. The project management must evaluate thoroughly the information about the problems since not always there are what they feign. Therefore we have to formulate the following questions: • Do we have all the information? • Is it the pertinent information? • Is the information updated? • Who has detected the mistake? • How is it known that the information is correct? The reason of this first step is to understand the cause of the problem and the need for compensation between the critical success aspects. Many of the causes can be catalogued as errors or human mistakes, uncertainty suspense problems, or unexpected problems, absence of communication and not targets projects alignment to the business strategy. In this article we will raise as in the industrial environment using the TRADE-OFF, satisfactory solutions can be reached applying the best practices in Project Management. Keywords: Uncertainty, Failures, Satisfactory Solutions, Management
