This paper presents a model for the interdisciplinary formation oriented to the competence development for accreditation in Project Management. From the GIE-project team the model is applied in a new and progressive way in graduate and postgraduate education (in an International Erasmus Mundus Master Course, an International Doctoral Program and a Postgraduate Seminar). The cooperation educative strategy is oriented to obtain the competence validation related to knowledge, expertise and attitudes of the International Project Management Association (IPMA). Results show that phasing in the educational goals in the different educational levels facilitate the gradual formation in the 46 elements of competence needed for the IPMA accreditation in Project Management. The educational strategy is propose as a new educational dimension in the framework of the EEES, taking the final thesis for the students graduation as an educational element appropriate to obtain an anticipated professional experience and link the educational activity with the industry environment.
