| dc.description | Con la inminente implantación del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior como marco para los estudios universitarios en España, también las Escuelas de Ingeniería deberán modificar sus planes de estudios y adaptar las materias a una nueva forma de medir el tiempo de formación. Si actualmente son las clases presenciales, teóricas y prácticas, las que marcan la duración de cada asignatura, con las nuevas leyes que regirán los estudios universitarios en nuestro país y en buena parte de Europa, serán los Créditos Europeos ECTS la unidad de medida de dedicación del alumnado a cada materia. Estos créditos, con una duración estimada entre 25 y 30 horas, se refieren más a lasnecesidades de trabajo global del alumnado para la superación de las distintas asignaturas que a la dedicación del profesorado en su impartición, como ocurría hasta ahora. En este trabajo, a través de encuestas y otras observaciones, se pretende estimar el número aproximado de horas necesarias para superar una importante materia en la elaboración de los proyectos de ingeniería, la Expresión Gráfica, en una titulación de la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. Así, se tendrá un dato importantísimo para elaborar los nuevos planes de estudios, que deberán adaptarse próximamente al modelo propuesto. | dc.description.abstract | Because of the imminent introduction of the European Higher Education Area as a framework for university studies in Spain, the Schools of Engineering will also have to modify their plans of study to adapt the subjects to a new way of measuring time training. Nowadays, theoretical and practical classes mark the duration of each subject, but with the new laws that will govern the university in our country and much of Europe, the European Credir Transfer System (ECTS) will be the measuring unit of the dedication of the students in each area. These credits, with an estimated duration between 25 and 30 hours, relate more to the needs of global work of the students for overcoming the different subjects that to the dedication of teachers in their teaching, as was the case so far. In this work, through surveys and other observations, it is intended to determine the approximate number of hours needed to overcome a important subject in the development of engineering projects, Graphic Expression, a degree from the University of Santiago de Compostela. Thus, we will have a very important figure in developing the new plans of study, which will soon be adapted to the proposed model.
