ANÁLISIS DE EXIGENCIAS LEGALES QUE AFECTAN A LOS METADATOS EN GESTIÓN DE DOCUMENTOS

Abstract

This paper is based on the context of developing e-government and it is centered in the analysis of the basic set of rules and regulations on this matter, to study the demands on metadata in document management with two objectives: generate an instrument which can be applied to any public organization that is interested in assessing its level of adaptation to current legislation, or those which are in the initial stages of development but, at the same time, as a starting point for future studies on electronic document management. Along with the recollection of legal requirements shown in this paper, it is presented one of the necessary instruments to know which aspects must be taken into account in terms of applying metadata to document management in e-government. The set of systemized requirements can be used as a checklist to any team who has to supervise or work on defining metadata in document management.
