APORTE DE MATERIALES AUDIOVISUALES EN LA GESTIÓN DE EMERGENCIAS Y PREVENCIÓN DE RIESGOS EN CRUCEROS Y BUQUES DE PASAJE

Abstract

With the rise of new technologies in recent decades, it is normal that when we make a pleasure trip, we bring with us devices that allow us to capture images and video, also with a very good quality. In this sense, smartphones whose use has practically been universalized, with the improvement of communication networks worldwide, favors not only such multimedia captures, but also share them with other users immediately, in portals of multimedia content such as YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc. These contents, obtained directly by the people present in the scene, offer a magnificent opportunity for the investigation of claims and the proposal of improvements in the management of emergencies and the prevention of risks in these situations. Research and development in safety measures on board cruises and passenger ships, therefore has a very versatile tool. The analysis of the existing material of some cases, we will treat them in a detailed way in this work, in such a way that it will help us when proposing other safety measures on board the passenger ships.
