In this work we have used the qualitative evaluation tool of INSHT based on the COSHH Essentials method and the INRS method modified by the INSHT. The Riskquim version 6.0 of INSHT has been used as support tools. The proposed methodologies have been applied to perform the evaluation of the potential risk of inhalation to chemical agents in the teaching laboratory practices of the subject of descriptive bromatology in the academic year 2016-17. The subject descriptive bromatología forms part of the educational plan of the degree of Human Nutrition and Dietetics of the University of Alicante. The two methodologies applied to the context studied have proved useful as a first approximation on the risk of inhalation to chemical agents. Through them, it has been possible to differentiate the acceptable situations from those that require a more detailed evaluation and the corresponding corrective measures have been proposed. This work aims to contribute to the use of simplified methodologies and web tools in the evaluation of hygienic risks, as well as to the integration of occupational risk prevention in university education.
