The comparison between prairies composed of combinations of warm climate grasses (C4) and native species (C3) against a commonly used in gardening standard mix is used to determine the differences in different scenarios of satisfaction of their water needs. The aim, for the sake of greater sustainability, is to analyze the feasibility of using the mixtures tested for use in the formation of lawns, analyzing the quality in the face of a reduction in water demand. The engineering of the process is to study its behavior in the field, working all the mixtures on plots of 1.5m2, with 3 replicates of each and 3 different regimes of ETP, analyzing the results based on series of quality controls established that cater to their uniformity, density, habit of growth, phytosanitary status, and color. For all of this has been designed a working protocol automated in the taking of data by means of sensors and measurements taken in situ, with this project conclusions are obtained through the continuous monitoring and analysis of the field data, allowing the evaluation of biodiversity through the study parameters.
