    Abstract
During 2016 and 2017, the Argentine textile and clothing sector reflected a poor competitive situation, finding deficiencies in labor informality, productivity, human resources training, investments, financial access, and small-scale productions. Currently it is a sensitive portion of the country's industry, since it employs 11% of all workers. To improve its competitiveness, the authors of this work carried out a project where Argentine companies are proposed to manufacture and market a product with high social impact and added value, such as textiles and clothing that repel mosquitoes. For this, the theories of Michael Porter were applied, especially the one corresponding to the Wheel of competitive strategy, where a strategy was designed for an Argentine clothing company, with its goals and the policies to achieve them, such as: the target market, product lines, finance, R & D, purchasing, production, distribution, marketing, sales, and human resources; Lastly, based on the detail, its annual profitability was calculated, demonstrating that the manufacture and marketing of the aforementioned products improves the situation of the company, and consequently, the competitiveness of the Sector.
