This paper introduces a methodological development based on neuro design techniques for design and development products focused on special population, specifically autistic children with pervasive developmental disorders (PDD). PDD in autistic children have a not unequivocally determined etiology at the present time, that involvement of certain areas of neural brain that matches mirror neurons. The proposed methodology has been developed considering this etiological origin. The methodological development begins analyzing the state of the art of neuroscientific knowledge of mirror neurons, identifying parameters of use and interaction parameters in products that stimulate the empathic activity supported by mirror neurons, with the aim of projecting them in the proposed methodology. A case study is introduced to illustrate the application of the proposed methodology for design products.
