    Abstract
    The present article depicts whole work relates with the development of the mechanical project for the conception and design of an innovative cane, whose functionality goes by having the functionality of reducing the probability of the user himself falling. A great percentage of falls exists when the cane is used, in spite of its main objective to be to give support to the user. The cane is a common and plenty object known by the people and it should have a function more relevance in the life of these, that is, to prevent the falls better. With the existence of several technology types it is incomprehensible to verify that the human gait aids more available on the market do not provide more safety. It was verified that the user when is in unbalance support more weight in the cane, for consequence, the user may fall due to the support lack. For not happen that, it was concluded by the authors that the best solution would be to fasten the base of the cane to the floor when the user felt in unbalance. Like this, in this work, it was conceived a prototype that fix to the floor through vacuum suckers.
