When in Mexico, in the year 2000 finally change of powers in the federal Government, it starts with a support process in mortgage credits to the housing sector. This situation originates the vertical home building (departments building) and horizontal home buildings (houses of one or two levels), at the same time, are soon exhausted the spaces and possibilities to continue to build in Mexico City and starts the construction of new cities in areas close to the city. As a result, house developers begin to raise prices for the Mexico City and make more accessible the outskirts.
In this research, discusses factors that originally motivated people to buy home away from the big city and that now, are propitiating to the abandonment the horizontal home buildings and return to the big city, due to the lack of compliances by the Government in improve: transport, security, job creation, creation of schools and hospitals.
