SISTEMA ESPACIAL DE AYUDA A LA DECISIÓN PARA LA GESTIÓN DE RUTAS DE RECOGIDA DE LECHE

Abstract

Most dairies made planning the collection of raw material manually, based on their experience. High energy prices make the cost of milk collection is an item that justifies the investment in tools that allow us to optimize this process.

In this paper we develop a new spatial decision support system (SDSS), which solves the problem in two steps. First an algorithm using heuristic techniques (Simulated Annealing), which generates solutions in a short period of time, is applied. Second, we have developed a graphical interface that allows to the operator to interact and make changes quickly and intuitively in the routes generated by the routing algorithm. The SDSS displays all the information necessary for to allow the operator to apply their own criteria. In addition, the operator can also perform a wide variety of simulations "What-if" to find the solution that minimizes costs. Keywords: DSS; GIS; route management
