Spatial variability of seasonality of precipitation in Eastern Andalusia region was analyzed using two indices: i) Walsh Lawler index, and Markham index. These indices quantify the precipitation seasonality using a simple value. This work estimates these indices in a total of 223 rain gauges distributed across this region using monthly precipitation series with more than fifty years (1945-2005 time period). Using GIS techniques maps of this region are presented showing the spatial variability of seasonal and concentration precipitation indices. Time series of these indices were analyzed for trends using non-parametric test based on the Man-Kendall rank. Keywords: Preciptation; Precipitation seasonality index; Man-Kendall test
