DESARROLLO DE UNA APLICACIÓN INFORMÁTICA DE AYUDA A LA ELABORACIÓN DE PROYECTOS DE CONSTRUCCIÓN EN MADERA

Abstract

Construction in Spain uses in most cases concrete and steel as structural materials, in detriment of the wood. This material, used since the dawn of humanity, for the manufacture of numerous objects, tools, machinery ... has always been used in construction for light weight, easy handling and abundance in the environment.

Nowadays with the Technical Building Code, the wood is in the same regulatory conditions as steel, or concrete, but all this time of absence with almost no presence of this material in the curriculum of qualifications related to the construction, make it difficult to introduce this material in the work. Therefore must be promoted the creation of tools that enable technicians and students become familiar with this material, showing its advantages such as more sustainable materials.

Software application has been designed. as a set of modules that facilitate the work to the designer, provides the calculation of constructive sections, and additional information to ensure the durability of the proposed solution, or for the generation the specifications, drawings and budget of the project itself
