ESTUDIO DE LAS NECESIDADES DE LAS EMPRESAS QUE ACOGEN A ALUMNOS DE INGENIERÍA PARA REALIZAR LA ESTANCIA EN PRÁCTICAS

Abstract

The Work Placement (WP) subject is an obligatory subject since the RD 1707/2011 application at Spanish Universities. The WP in an enterprise is the first contact with the labour market for a great number of students and it allows them to apply the theoretical knowledge they have acquired at University. One of the most common complaints coming from the enterprises is that the students do not meet some of the technical requirements that they were asked for. This handicap is really negative for the student who wants to access a particular work placement. For this reason, this paper analyzes the main demanded requirements in grades as Industrial Engineering, Technical Mechanical Industrial Engineering or Technical Industrial Design Engineering in the last years. This kind of work is needed to improve students access to the enterprises world as well as to facilitate them their future employability which is a basic task due to the actual economic circumstances. Furthermore this study will also be useful to improve WP subject in the imminent implementation of the new engineering degrees.
