The aim of this paper is to analyze how environmental education in industrial designers influences their willingness to incorporate environmental requirements into the product design process. To do this, a workshop entitled "Incorporation of the end of life in the design of electrical and electronic products. Application to re-design toys" was designed and conducted involving students from different degrees (bachelor and master) linked to Industrial Design and with different levels of training in subjects related to ecodesign. The results show that environmental education and training in this area encourage the incorporation of environmental considerations in the design of electric and electronic equipment. So, its inclusion in the curricula of industrial designers is a key factor for developing products with better environmental performance and greater potential for reuse or recycling.
