EL ANILLO INDUSTRIAL: CINCO AÑOS DE EXPERIENCIAS

Abstract

In the XI International Congress of Project Engineering in 2007, in Lugo, was presented the project Industrial Ring which aimed provide communications infrastructures and services, using symmetrical broadband in Catalunya, focused exclusively to industry. The aim was to begin to facilitate collaborative work between companies, using the resources available in the XXI century in more efficient way, even adopting methodologies that were unthinkable with the existing infrastructure. The aim was improving the competitiveness of our production system. At present, more than 50 organizations belong to the Industrial Ring, www.anellaindustrial.cat, and in this article we will discuss the achievements, started projects and future prospects as well as some conclusions from the experience accumulated over this five years.
